My wife brought be back a dip pen with a metal nib from Italy. The body is glass and has a metal nib affixed with a pressed metal band. Is it likely that an ordinary dip pen nib can be made to fit this? Am I likely to destroy the pen if I try to remove the metal nib? I have tried pulling with some force on the nib, but it won't budge. Please advise.
